I’d lost weight and reached maintenance right as I was launching a new business where I'd be much more visible professionally. Suddenly my closet felt like it belonged to someone I used to be.
I was excited to get to the clothes. I was less convinced I needed all the measurements, photos, and questions first. But once we started shopping, I got it. Ros knew my body, understood how I wanted to show up, and was bringing me things I never would have picked for myself, but somehow felt completely right.
I would try things on and think, “There I am!” And everything fit. Not ‘good enough’ fit, actually fit fit. I felt more confident walking into a room, being photographed, and representing my business. I wasn't thinking about my clothes or second-guessing how I looked. I just felt like myself.
The other surprise was how much I got for what I spent. Ros shopped consignment and built me a wardrobe worth around $5,000 for about $1,000. I got better clothes, they fit like they were made for me, and they're things I never would have found on my own. I got so much more out of the whole experience than I expected.
